2: DISCOVERY & INNOVATION

Conceptual Design Agreement (CDA)

Cost: Varies from $1,500 to $5,000

Signing a conceptual design agreement begins the brainstorming and design phase. The fixed design fee will be outlined for your review in the CDA.

Conceptual Design. We’ll discuss your budget, goals and needs in detail, helping you prioritize your wish list and assess your project’s feasibility. Your home’s existing conditions will be documented and entered into our CAD system. We’ll brainstorm and sketch out many creative solutions. Finally, we will present multiple design options (typically three) with 3D renderings and rough ballpark pricing. This is a fun and eye-opening meeting.

 
 

3: PROVIDING SOLUTIONS

Design Development Agreement (DDA)

Cost: Varies from 6% to 10% of projected construction costs.

Signing the design development agreement (DDA) starts the second and more detailed phase. Our team will work closely with you, leading you through the many decisions and details of the project.

Design Development. Together, we will:

  • Synthesize the best design ideas into a single plan

  • Further tailor the design with great style and details

  • Review and select materials

  • Address structural, mechanical, electrical issues

  • Develop a full construction contract, specifications, and pricing options

Construction Contract

Cost: Fixed price. Down payment with monthly installments after that.
